About the Sugarbush Boys and Sugarbush Lite

The Sugarbush Boys from Northeast WI, is named after band leader, Lenny Whipp's home town of Sugarbush, a few miles east of Green Bay. The rest of the members are scattered throughout Brown, Kewaunee, and Manitowoc counties.  The Sugarbush Boys is a 6 or 7 piece band featuring Czech style Polka Music along with a mixture of Classic Country, Golden Oldies and Big Band.  They now also appear as a 4 or 5 piece group called Sugarbush Lite, which features many songs not available to the full band and includes a greater variety of more familiar songs.   If your taste in music doesn't include Polkas, Sugarbush Lite is able to omit the Polkas and play an entire gig with a fun mixture of Classic Country, Golden Oldies and Big Band with an occasional hint of Dixieland.

A well received event for the band is their version of the Polka Mass.
